Species information

Sannantha collina   A. R. Bean

This native shrub is commonly known as sannantha.

Sannantha collina is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Was split from Baeckea virgata (New South Wales Flora Online). Previously known as Babingtonia collina (Australian Plant Census). Not recorded in the Fraser Coast region. The nearest record is at Mt Walsh.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
