Listed as an invasive plant under the Biosecurity Act 2014 but not prohibited or restricted. As at 01/07/2016 declared as a Local Law Pest Plant for the Fraser Coast region. Also reported at Booral and Burrum Heads.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
