Tradescantia zebrina   hort. ex Bosse WEED

This introduced groundcover is commonly known as zebrina.

Tradescantia zebrina is described as a "monocot" in the Commelinaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is not classified as it is not native to Queensland. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Listed as an invasive plant under the Biosecurity Act 2014 but not prohibited or restricted. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 6 Fraser Coast localities: Point Vernon, Toogoom, Howard, Urangan, Beaver Rock, Dundowran Beach.
