Very uncommon in the Fraser Coast region with a disjunct southern limit record at Booral. In Queensland this is mainly a coastal/island species. Known as Abutilon indicum subsp. albescens (Miq.) It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
