New species and combination for Queensland (Queensland Flora Census 2016). In the Australian Plant Census known as Keraudrenia corollata var. denticulata C.T.White and included under family Malvaceae. Nearest record to Fraser Coast region is just north of Gympie.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
