Northern limit of recorded coastal distribution is K'gari (Fraser Island). Disjunct record inland in the North Burnett. No Fraser Coast region record on the mainland north of Poona. Also reported at Tinnanbar, Poona Creek, Tuan Forest, Craignish, Toogoom, Burrum Heads and Woody Island. Listed as a priority locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region Threatened Species Action Plan (Ecosure 2019, Stage 2 TSAP).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 9 Fraser Coast localities: Toogoom, Great Sandy Strait, K'gari, Craignish, Poona, Tuan Forest, Tinnanbar, Burrum Heads, Takura.
