A category 3 restricted invasive plant under the Biosecurity Act 2014. Recorded from the Sunshine Coast southward. In the Plants of the World Online known as Rubus grabowski.
It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
