This native shrub
is commonly known as
Mount Walsh boronia.
Boronia foetida
is described as a "dicot"
in the
Rutaceae
family.
In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
No Fraser Coast region records. Restricted to Mt Walsh just inside North Burnett region, with one outlying record in the Central Highlands. Foliage has a foul smell (Austrobaileya Vol. 5, No. 2 1999).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
