Petals pink or white (Stanley and Ross. 1995. Flora of south-eastern Queensland). One of the iconic flowering species of the region.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 9 Fraser Coast localities: Burrum Heads, Toogoom, Dundowran, Craignish, Beelbi Creek, Tinnanbar, K'gari, Mount Urah, Tuan Forest.
