In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
Slender wattle to about 2 metres tall. Usually present in only small numbers. Flowering Yengarie July 2018.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 22 Fraser Coast localities: Point Vernon, Yengarie, Kawungan, Glenwood, Bidwill, Teddington, Gigoomgan, Tinana, Bauple, Paterson, River Heads, Talegalla Weir, Boompa, Takura, Susan River, Mount Urah, St Mary, Urangan, Bauple Forest, Granville, Antigua, Tiaro.
