Species information

Bryophyllum delagoense   (Eckl. & J.Zeyh.) Schinz WEED

This introduced groundcover is commonly known as mother of millions.

Bryophyllum delagoense is described as a "dicot" in the Crassulaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is not classified as it is not native to Queensland. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Previously known as Bryophyllum tubiflorum (Australian Plant Census). A category 3 restricted invasive plant under the Biosecurity Act 2014. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 16 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran Beach, Torquay, Point Vernon, Toogoom, Kawungan, Howard, Urraween, Booral, Urangan, Bauple, Maryborough, Tinana, Boompa, Craignish, Gundiah, Granville.
