Uncommon in the region. No official records but reported at Mt Bauple (Alan Logan) and K'gari (Fraser Island). A clumping epiphytic or lithophytic plant with stems 20-30cm long. Leaves thick and fleshy, 3-8cm long. Flowers sessile on stems; 4-6mm long; red or reddish in colour. Flowering period June-July. Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 2 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, K'gari.
