Includes Melaleuca sp. (Mt Walsh P.I.Forster PIF7477) (Census 2016). According to the Australian Plant Census the accepted name is Callistemon linearis. Main distribution is south of the Fraser Coast region. An outlier record just outside the region at Mount Walsh.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
