Is one of two forms of Psydrax odorata subsp. australiana. Was Canthium odoratum (Harden, McDonald and Williams).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 10 Fraser Coast localities: Kanigan, Teddington, Gigoomgan, Bauple Forest, River Heads, Boompa, St Mary, Doongul, Bauple, Urraween.
