Previously known as Acacia juncifolia subsp. juncifolia (Australian Plant Census). Scattered records within Fraser Coast region at Walligan, Biggenden Road and Burrum River. Flowering at Yengarie July 2018.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 4 Fraser Coast localities: Beelbi Creek, Aldershot, Yengarie, Point Vernon.
