A very small plant with a single round or obovate 2-3cm diameter leaf at ground level. Flowering stem very short, about 1cm high, with a 2cm high glistening white hooded flower. Flowering period May-June. Fairly common. Takura; Tandora; Big Woody Island; K'gari (Fraser Island) (Alan Logan) Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
