Records on K'gari (Fraser Island) appear to be the northern limit of the species. On the mainland records in the Tinnanbar area on the coast and in the west just outside the region near summit of Mount Walsh. It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
